Computers in the Learning Commons and Law Library

There are several public access computer workstations available on the main level Learning Commons, and a computer lab on the basement level in the Law Library.

Tips for using shared computers:

  • Save your work to an external drive or to the cloud

  • Log off email

  • Delete all files from the desktop

Power outlets are available throughout the library. Please use caution when plugging in your device to avoid tripping hazards. For your own security and to ensure access for all, please do not leave your computer and belongings unattended.

Library staff reserves the right to ask students to cease activities which are not appropriate in a research environment, which interfere with the research activities of others, or which deprive others of needed access to resources.


Wireless Policy

Instructions on how to get onto the GGU wireless network are available at the Library Information Desk.

Wireless access is available throughout the Learning Commons and Law Library. You must have a valid myGGU account and a wireless card for access.

The Learning Commons and Law Library subscribe to the University's Wireless Policy. For information on configuration, access, and the official University Policy, please visit GGU's Wireless Access (ggu.edu) found under the "Student Services" - "Technology" (GGU4You login required).

Rechargeable Copy Cards are available for purchase at the print card machine in the l

Learning Commons. Copy Cards cost $1.00. You can purchase a card using Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex, and Apple Pay (no coins accepted in the machine).

There is a $1.50 hold placed on card by your bank that will fall off in 24 hours

You can also add money to your Copy Card at the print card machine. Bills and any E-payment of any denomination will be accepted but no coins. Please note: print card machines do not give change. The entire amount of cash or E-payment you choose will be added to the balance of your card.
