This guide outlines policies regarding library use and library materials.

Course Reserves Policy

What are Course Reserves?

Course Reserves are textbooks, articles, and other materials your instructor requests the Business Library make available for students.

You will access Course Reserve items online (links to articles/ebooks, and PDFs), and at the Business Library.

All Course Reserve items are listed online.


Do I still need to buy my textbooks, or can I just use the course reserves?

Textbooks on reserve should not replace your need to purchase REQUIRED TEXTBOOKS.

Not all course textbooks are on reserve at the library.

Course Reserve items may not be taken out of the Business Library. In-library use only.

Course Reserve items may not be used for in-class assignments or taken to out of the library for an exam.


How do I find my course reserves?

Go to the Business Library homepage: click on Find Course Reserves.

You will need the current term password. Need help?

If the item is an article within a library database, a pop-up window will promoted you to sign in with your GGU ID.


I’m a student and I want my class textbook on reserve. What do I do?

Talk with your instructor. Only instructors may request items to be placed within Course Reserves.
