Information Literacy 101

What is Information literacy?

Have you ever heard of the Information Society?  That's where we live today.  Information literacy is key to being a citizen of this society: being able to effectively, efficiently, and ethically use information.

Why does GGU care?

You need information literacy skills to succeed at GGU.  Information literacy is also essential in the workplace.  Employers want to hire GGU grads who know how to save time when they search, choose the best sources for an assignment, and respect the law when they use other people's work.

Why use the library?
