What to do when having problems accessing a database

Please be sure to include the following information:

 

  • Browser name & version
  • Name of database/resource,
  • Specific steps taken,
  • Specific error messages seen,
  • Time & date of error,
  • Your location (home, work, etc.).
 
 

Overview

If you are having problems accessing articles or reserve materials linked in CyberCampus, first check the General Problems tab.

If problems persist, copy the article link from CyberCampus, open a new browser window, and paste the article link into the web browser's address bar.

If you still can not access databases, contact the University Library Reference Desk. While we are investigating the problem, you can try to retrieve articles using the Article Citation Linker.

  • Enter the Article Title, Journal name, and Date (include Volume and Issue numbers if available)
  • Click Submit.
